A fast estate. A complete calibration.

An early-morning visit in Silesia: a B58 engine, a ZF 8HP gearbox and a measured before-and-after comparison.

The brief

The owner wanted to develop the potential of a low-mileage M340i without mechanical changes.

The work

Diagnostics and software updates came first. Individual ECU calibration, Stage 2 gearbox software and selected comfort coding followed.

The verification

Road-based measurements recorded 377 PS / 575 Nm before and 432 PS / 672 Nm after the work. The original post includes the measurement chart.

The result

An increase of 55 PS and 97 Nm for this particular vehicle, with engine and transmission calibration addressed together.

The brief

The imported Allroad had outdated navigation and unresolved configuration issues, alongside a request for improved performance.

The work

Mobile work covered ECU Stage 1, cooling and oil-pump calibration, transmission update and adaptation, module updates, conversion corrections and full-screen CarPlay.

The verification

The original post reports 401 PS and 572 Nm, measured on 95 RON fuel at an ambient temperature of 33°C.

The result

Software, multimedia and performance were addressed in one visit, bringing the work back to the owner’s everyday experience.

Leaving the car at a workshop for several days did not fit the owner’s schedule.

The work

The PLATINUM visit combined engine calibration, software updates, European configuration, navigation maps, full-screen CarPlay and cockpit personalisation.

The verification

The source documents the scope and an accompanying measurement chart. This story focuses on the mobile service and configuration work.

The result

A broad programme completed at the owner’s location, with the scope discussed directly around the vehicle.

The brief

The car returned after earlier Stage 1+ work and software personalisation. The next development phase was already being discussed.

The work

The team reviewed boost, fuelling, lambda, ignition and correction data, alongside the existing software package.

The verification

Road conditions did not allow a reliable power measurement. The source explicitly distinguishes calibration targets from measured output; no dyno result is claimed here.

The result

A documented follow-up session, with Stage 2 described as a future plan rather than completed work.
